Day Two
Athens

Wake up to the magic of Athens as the city slowly comes to life. This morning, your private expert guide leads you on a captivating walk through the rolling grounds beneath the Acropolis, where history and beauty unfold at every turn. Ascend the legendary “Sacred Rock” and stand before one of the world’s greatest architectural masterpieces—the Parthenon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 447 B.C. From this awe-inspiring vantage point, take in sweeping panoramic views across Athens while your guide brings ancient stories vividly to life.

After exploring the Acropolis, continue your journey through time as you stroll the Ancient Agora, once the heart of daily life in classical Athens. Your walk naturally leads into the lively, winding streets of Monastiraki, one of the city’s oldest and most vibrant market districts—perfect for browsing, people-watching, and soaking in the local energy.

For lunch, we’ll point you toward some of the best souvlaki in Athens, a must-try local favorite that never disappoints.

The afternoon is completely yours. Shop the colorful markets, join a foodie walk, explore world-class museums, or simply relax at a sidewalk café with a coffee or glass of wine as Athenians pass by.

Day Three
Nafplio

After breakfast, your private driver greets you for a scenic journey into the legendary Peloponnese, often called the Island of Pelops. Your first stop is one of Greece’s most extraordinary ancient sites—the Theatre and Healing Sanctuary of Epidaurus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to Asclepius, god of medicine.

Renowned for its near-perfect acoustics, this ancient theatre has hosted some of the world’s greatest performers, including Maria Callas, and still comes alive each summer with classical Greek dramas. Step into the center of the stage—bring a song or a poem—and experience the magic for yourself. Take time to explore the surrounding ruins and museum, where history, medicine, and mythology intertwine.

From Epidaurus, continue on to the seaside town of Nafplio, once the capital of modern Greece and today one of the country’s most beautifully preserved neoclassical towns. After checking into your centrally located boutique hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

Climb the 990 steps to the Palamidi Fortress and Acronafplia for breathtaking views over the Argolic Gulf, take a refreshing swim at a nearby beach, or relax in the main square with a cold beer as local life unfolds around you. However you choose to explore, we’re on hand to help—and we’ll happily point you to the best gelato in town.
As evening falls, enjoy dinner at one of our favorite tavernas, tucked among Nafplio’s romantic cobblestone streets.

Day Four
Nafplio

After breakfast, set out with your private driver into the heart of ancient legend. Your journey winds through low-lying hills and fertile valleys dotted with shimmering olive groves, leading you to the powerful ruins of Mycenae—the mythical kingdom of King Agamemnon and Clytemnestra and a cornerstone of early Greek civilization.

Here, you’ll meet dramatic history as you explore the monumental Cyclopean walls, mysterious beehive tombs, and the on-site museum. It was at Mycenae that explorer Heinrich Schliemann famously believed he uncovered the Mask of Agamemnon, forever linking myth and archaeology. This extraordinary site is recognized today as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, continue on to Nemea, where mythology and sport converge. According to legend, this is where Hercules completed one of his twelve labors by slaying the fearsome Nemean Lion. Walk through the ancient sanctuary and stadium, where athletic games once rivaled those of Olympia, and imagine the roar of the crowds that once filled this sacred valley.

In the afternoon, your private driver returns you to Nafplio, where charming tavernas hide along quiet backstreets beneath cascading bougainvillea. We’ll be happy to share our favorite recommendations for a perfect evening.

  • Visit to Mycenae

Day Five
Athens to the Island of Paros

After breakfast, your private driver escorts you to one of the most significant sites of the ancient world--Ancient Corinth, a powerful city that once rivaled Athens in influence and wealth. Walk among the ruins where history, philosophy, and early Christianity intersect. It was a visit here that inspired Apostle Paul’s letters to the Corinthians, adding a profound spiritual layer to this remarkable place.

Before lunch, pause above the dramatic Corinth Canal, an astonishing feat of engineering that slices through the Isthmus and connects the Aegean and Ionian Seas. From this vantage point, watch ships glide through the narrow passage far below—an unforgettable sight.

Your journey continues as your private driver transfers you back to Athens Airport, where you’ll board a short flight to the island of Paros, set in the heart of the dazzling Cycladic island chain.

Upon arrival, settle into your centrally located boutique hotel in the lively seaside town of Naoussa, beloved for its charming harbor, whitewashed lanes, and waterfront tavernas. After check-in, enjoy a guided walk through Naoussa, discovering hidden backstreets, picturesque churches, and the rhythm of island life.

The afternoon is yours to unwind—sip a drink quayside, soak in the Aegean breeze, and ease into island time. As evening approaches, we’ll share our favorite seaside taverna recommendations, where fresh flavors and sunset views set the tone for your first night in Paros.

Day Six
Island of Paros

After breakfast, the day is yours to explore the sun-washed beauty of Paros at your own pace. A rental car is waiting, giving you complete freedom to discover the island’s hidden corners and timeless villages.
Begin with a stop at the legendary marble quarries, where luminous Parian marble was once extracted and shipped across the ancient world. This extraordinary stone was used to create some of history’s most celebrated sculptures, including the Medici Venus in Florence and the Nike of Samothrace in Paris—standing here, you can truly feel Paros’ influence on classical art.

Continue inland to hilltop villages, where whitewashed homes gleam in the sun and sweeping views stretch across the Aegean. Pause for a coffee in a quiet square, then follow sections of the Byzantine trails, ancient stone paths that once served as the only connections between villages. Walking these trails is like stepping into another era, surrounded by wind, sky, and history.

By midday, make your way to a seaside village and settle in for a leisurely taverna lunch. From freshly grilled seafood to traditional island dishes, we’ll provide our favorite recommendations so you can savor Paros at its most authentic.

The afternoon is yours to unwind. Relax poolside, watch sleek yachts glide into the harbor, or wander the charming backstreets in search of beautiful local shopping. As evening approaches, enjoy one of our hand-picked dinner recommendations, many set right along the water’s edge, where the sound of the sea accompanies your meal.

Day Seven
Island of Naxos

Begin your morning at a relaxed island pace. Enjoy breakfast, then take another gentle stroll along the waterfront or slip into the sea for an early morning swim, savoring your final moments on Paros.

By mid-morning, you’ll return to the water once more as you set sail by ferry to Naxos, the largest of the Cycladic islands and one steeped in myth and legend. According to ancient lore, Zeus, father of the gods, was raised on Naxos. It was also here that Theseus abandoned Ariadne after slaying the Minotaur—only for her story to take a joyful turn when Dionysus arrived and claimed her as his own.

After checking into your centrally located boutique hotel, we recommend an orientation walk through Chora, the island’s main town. Wander among whitewashed buildings, arched doorways, and cobblestone lanes, where getting “lost” is part of the pleasure. Each turn reveals hidden chapels, quiet courtyards, and postcard-perfect views.

As evening approaches, settle into island life with dinner at one of our favorite local tavernas, where traditional flavors, warm hospitality, and the easy rhythm of Naxos create a meal to remember.

Day Eight
Island of Naxos

After breakfast, prepare for one of the most remarkable and authentic days of your journey. Lace up comfortable walking shoes—today you’ll follow ancient stone paths, explore the island’s backroads, and encounter treasures few visitors ever see. A rental car is at your disposal, allowing you to discover Naxos at its most intimate and unspoiled.

Your day begins in the village of Halkio, where you’ll visit a family-owned distillery producing Citron, Naxos’ signature liqueur. Learn how this fragrant spirit is made and enjoy a tasting, a true introduction to local tradition and craftsmanship.

From here, drive through the lush heart of the island, passing marble quarries and villages built almost entirely from locally mined stone. Time seems to slow as you wind through fertile valleys, mountain hamlets, and sunlit landscapes that reveal why Naxos has long been considered the Cyclades’ most abundant island.
Pause for lunch at one of the island’s excellent local tavernas, where seasonal ingredients and family recipes take center stage.

Later, visit a local family’s garden, where one of the island’s most extraordinary relics lies quietly among the trees—a 2,000-year-old Kouros statue, representing Apollo, carved from Naxian marble and left resting where it was discovered thousands of years ago. Standing before it is a powerful, almost mystical experience.

Return to town in the late afternoon, then set out on a short walk to the Temple of Apollo. As the sun sinks into the Aegean, watch the sky ignite in gold and rose hues—one of the most iconic sunsets in Greece. We’ll be happy to arrange dinner reservations at one of Naxos’ celebrated tavernas for a perfect end to the day.

Included
  • Full Breakfast

Day Nine
Island of Santorini

After breakfast, pack your bags and prepare for one of the most anticipated arrivals in the Aegean. A private transfer brings you to the port, where you’ll board your ferry to Santorini—a destination unlike anywhere else in the world.

As you approach the island, the drama unfolds: whitewashed villages cling impossibly to the rim of the caldera, formed by the massive volcanic eruption of 1650 B.C. The result is a landscape so striking it feels almost unreal.
Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer to your caldera-view hotel, where you can leave your bags and take a moment to soak in the view—deep blue sea, volcanic cliffs, and sky melting into horizon.

We recommend an orientation walk along Santorini’s winding paths, leading into the lively town of Fira. Your walk culminates at the Prehistoric Museum of Thera, where extraordinary discoveries from Akrotiri are on display—some dating 1,000 years before the Parthenon. As you explore this advanced Bronze Age civilization, you’ll hear the fascinating theories linking Akrotiri to the lost city of Atlantis.

As evening approaches, choose from an array of exceptional tavernas, many perched directly on the caldera, offering unforgettable sunset views. Later, linger over a drink in one of Santorini’s dreamy cliffside bars, watching the caldera glow beneath the stars.

Island of Santorini

Savor a leisurely breakfast as the Aegean stretches endlessly before you—deep blue sea, distant islands, and the unmistakable curve of the caldera setting the tone for your final full day in Greece.

Today, we offer two wonderful ways to experience Santorini, depending on your mood. Choose to enjoy a shopping stroll through the island’s most celebrated villages, including the iconic village of Oia, where elegant boutiques, artisan shops, and postcard-perfect lanes invite exploration. Or opt for a breathtaking walk along the caldera, one of the most beautiful coastal paths in the world, where dramatic cliffs, whitewashed villages, and sweeping views unfold with every step.

Lunch is yours to enjoy at leisure at one of the many charming cafés scattered throughout town—simple, scenic, and delicious.

As evening approaches, return to your hotel for a celebratory drink, raising a glass to an unforgettable journey. We’ll then guide you to a special farewell dinner, the perfect setting to reflect on the experiences, flavors, and memories of your time in Greece as the sun dips into the sea.
