Day Three
Plitvice Lakes to Zadar, Croatia
This morning, we recommend an early start to experience one of Croatia’s most breathtaking natural wonders at its most peaceful. Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is world-renowned for its cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear lakes, and lush forested landscapes. Your private driver will pick you up at your Zagreb hotel and transport you.
We will arrange skip-the-line entrance tickets along with a private expert guide who will lead you along the park’s scenic wooden pathways and panoramic viewpoints. As you explore, you’ll witness a series of terraced lakes connected by waterfalls, constantly changing colors from emerald to turquoise depending on the light. Your guide will ensure you experience the most spectacular areas while sharing insight into the park’s unique ecosystem and history.
While you enjoy the park, your private driver will remain nearby with your luggage securely stored in the vehicle, allowing you to explore comfortably and without concern.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll continue your journey with the same private driver toward the Dalmatian coast and the historic city of Zadar, beautifully situated along the Adriatic Sea. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven directly to your hotel in the heart of the peninsula.
After settling in, take time for a relaxing seaside stroll. Visit Zadar’s most famous waterfront attractions: the remarkable Sea Organ, an architectural installation that creates music from the movement of the sea, and the nearby Monument to the Sun, a large solar-powered light installation that becomes especially magical at sunset.
Zadar offers a wonderful culinary scene with many excellent restaurants specializing in fresh seafood and local Dalmatian dishes. We will provide personalized dinner recommendations so you can enjoy an authentic coastal dining experience.

Day Four
Discovering Zadar
Today you’ll discover the rich layers of history that make Zadar one of the Adriatic's most fascinating coastal cities.
This morning, enjoy a private guided tour through Zadar’s atmospheric old town, set on a compact peninsula surrounded by the sea. Begin at the impressive Roman Forum, dating back to the 1st century BC, where ancient columns and stone foundations still stand as reminders of Zadar’s importance during Roman times.
You’ll also visit the remarkable 9th-century Church of St. Donatus, one of the finest examples of early Byzantine architecture in Croatia. Its circular form and austere stone interior create a striking contrast to the surrounding Venetian-style buildings that reflect centuries of maritime trade and influence.
As you wander, your guide will point out additional highlights — medieval churches, defensive walls, lively squares, and hidden corners that reveal the city’s complex past under Roman, Byzantine, Venetian, and Austro-Hungarian rule.
Lunch today is at your leisure. Zadar offers a wide range of inviting restaurants and cafés, from casual seaside spots to refined Dalmatian kitchens. We are happy to suggest our favorites.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish. You may choose to relax along the waterfront promenade, visit nearby beaches, or take an optional boat excursion to the breathtaking Kornati National Park. This protected archipelago is known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and unspoiled island landscapes — a spectacular way to experience the natural beauty just offshore.
This evening, dine independently with our curated recommendations. Whether you prefer fresh seafood overlooking the Adriatic or a tucked-away local konoba, we’ll guide you toward the perfect setting.

Day Five
From Zadar to the Island of Hvar
After breakfast, your private driver will meet you for a beautiful coastal journey south toward the small island town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkably preserved medieval core.
Often called Traù during Venetian times, Trogir is a charming walled town filled with narrow stone lanes, Romanesque churches, Renaissance palaces, and quiet courtyards. Take your time wandering at your own pace — every corner reveals intricate architectural details and centuries of history. The waterfront promenade is lined with inviting cafés and restaurants, making it a perfect place to pause for a relaxed lunch by the sea.
From Trogir, your driver will continue to the vibrant coastal city of Split, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most fascinating cities in the Adriatic. At its heart lies the extraordinary Diocletian's Palace, built in the 4th century as a retirement residence for the Roman Emperor Diocletian. What makes Split unique is that the palace is not a ruin frozen in time — it is a living part of the city, still home to shops, cafés, residences, and over 200 structures within its ancient walls.
Be sure to visit the impressive Cathedral of Saint Domnius, one of the best-preserved Roman monuments still standing today. If you’re feeling adventurous, climb the cathedral’s bell tower for sweeping views over the terracotta rooftops and sparkling Adriatic below.
In the afternoon, you will board your ferry for a scenic ride across the Adriatic to the island of Hvar, renowned for its elegant harbor, lavender fields, and celebrated wineries tucked into the surrounding hills.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take time to relax by the waterfront. We highly recommend enjoying cocktails seaside as the sun sets over the harbor — a quintessential Dalmatian experience and a magical way to end the day.
Hvar offers a wonderful dining scene, from chic seaside restaurants to tucked-away local konobas. We will gladly share our favorite recommendations and arrange reservations if desired.

Day Six
Island of Hvar
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace on the dazzling island of Hvar — a place where history, natural beauty, and effortless glamour blend seamlessly.
For those drawn to the sea, consider chartering a private boat for the day. Cruise along the Adriatic coastline, discover hidden coves, swim in crystalline turquoise waters, or visit the nearby Pakleni Islands. It’s an unforgettable way to experience the island from a different perspective.
If you prefer to explore inland, you may wish to rent a car and venture into the quieter corners of the island. Hvar’s interior is dotted with charming villages rooted in ancient Greek history, stone houses, olive groves, and sweeping vineyard landscapes. We can recommend scenic stops along the way, including a visit to a local winery for a tour and tasting of the island’s celebrated varietals.
Back in Hvar Town, history enthusiasts can walk up to the impressive hilltop fortress, known as the Fortica (Španjola Fortress), built on the site of an ancient Illyrian settlement dating back to approximately 500 BC. The climb is well worth the effort — panoramic views stretch across the terracotta rooftops and out over the Adriatic Sea.
The afternoon is perfect for simple pleasures: browse local boutiques, relax at a seaside café, or take a refreshing swim just steps from town. Hvar strikes a beautiful balance between laid-back island life and sophisticated energy, and we’ll be happy to share insider recommendations tailored to your interests.
This evening, enjoy one of the many excellent restaurants in town — from elegant waterfront dining to cozy hidden konobas. And before or after dinner, don’t miss a glass of prosecco at your hotel’s lively bar, where the atmosphere is vibrant and the people-watching is exceptional.

Day Seven
Island of Korcula
This morning, you’ll depart by boat for the enchanting island of Korčula, where you will spend the next three nights immersed in history, wine country, and refined island living.
Often referred to as “Little Dubrovnik” for its fortified medieval walls and terracotta rooftops, Korčula boasts a rich and layered past. Originally settled by the ancient Greeks in the 4th century BC, the island later flourished under Roman rule and eventually became an important stronghold of the Venetian Republic. Much of the old town you see today reflects Venetian Gothic architecture, with elegant stone buildings, narrow alleys laid out in a distinctive herringbone pattern (designed to protect residents from strong winds), and impressive defensive walls.
Korčula is also traditionally believed to be the birthplace of the famed explorer Marco Polo, and you’ll find subtle references to his legacy throughout the town.
Beyond its architectural beauty, the island is celebrated for its vineyards and olive groves. The nearby village of Lumbarda is particularly renowned for producing Grk, one of Croatia’s most prized white wines. Many connoisseurs consider Korčula’s whites among the finest in the country — a claim you’ll have the pleasure of sampling for yourself.
Upon arrival, you’ll check into your relaxing oceanfront hotel, perfectly positioned for enjoying the Adriatic’s clear blue waters and gentle sea breezes. The remainder of the day is yours to begin exploring. Wander the marble streets of the old town, pause for a swim, or settle into a seaside café as fishing boats drift in and out of the harbor.
With three nights here, you’ll have ample time to discover hidden beaches, scenic vineyard roads, and quiet coves. We will gladly share curated recommendations for wine tastings, coastal drives, cultural experiences, and exceptional local restaurants.

After a leisurely breakfast, set off to discover the island’s diverse landscapes — from rolling vineyards and olive groves to hidden coves and panoramic coastal roads.
Wine & Villages
Drive toward the village of Lumbarda, just a short distance from Korčula Town, where sandy beaches meet rows of vineyards. This area is famous for producing Grk, a distinctive dry white wine native to the island. Many family-run wineries welcome visitors for tastings, offering a relaxed and intimate introduction to local winemaking traditions.
You may also wish to explore the inland village of Žrnovo, known for its stone houses and long-standing agricultural traditions, or continue west toward Vela Luka, a quieter harbor town with a more laid-back atmosphere.
Beaches & Scenic
StopsFor swimming and sunbathing, consider visiting Pupnatska Luka, one of the island’s most beautiful pebble beaches, framed by dramatic hills and crystal-clear water. Along the way, you’ll encounter scenic overlooks that provide spectacular views of the Adriatic and neighboring islands — perfect for photo stops.
Korčula Old
Later in the day, return to Korčula Town to stroll along the medieval fortress walls. The seaside cafés perched directly on the edge of the old stone ramparts offer the ideal setting for a relaxed drink as boats glide past. The polished marble streets, Venetian architecture, and small artisan shops make wandering here especially enjoyable in the late afternoon light.
This evening, we recommend dining at one of our favorite local konobas (traditional Croatian taverns) located just outside of town. These beloved neighborhood spots focus on fresh seafood, island-grown vegetables, and simple, authentic Dalmatian recipes — the kind of place where locals gather and visitors feel warmly welcomed.
