Welcome to Italy! Your personal driver(s)*will be on hand to pick you up at Florence airport and whisk you away to your private villa in the rolling hills of Tuscany. If you like your driver(s) can do a quick market stop for you to stock up on any essential you will need at the villa (drinks, snacks, etc).
The management team at the villa will be there to great you and get you checked in. Take your time getting settled and checking out all of the areas and rooms of your villa. Be sure to get a jump in the pool and strech out on a chaise pool side.
Later we can have the management of the villa have dinner ready for you around the pool.
An early turn in is suggested so that you can start your exciting trip well rested!

This morning your private driver(s) will be on hand to take you into the magical city of Florence. Plan on shpening the day here taking in the sites.

You can sleep in this morning, go for a run, or jump in the pool. The morning is yours to sip your coffee and take in a leisurely breakfast at the villa.
In the afternoon, be ready for your cooking class, where you will make Tuscan specialties and also have a wine tasting. Afterwards, you will enjoy the food you just cooked.

On the 'menu' today is an excellent day out in Tuscany. Your private driver will arrive mid-morning to pick you up and take you out and about.

Filled with charcuterie shops, along with cheese and wine shops, this is a place to take your time. We will even point out and optional walk that take you up to the top of the town with views all around. You can have lunch here if you would like.

We have a wonderful evening self-guided walk (with detailed instructions) that takes to the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain *as of October 2024 it is closed for cleaning-with no date stated for opening*, and the Piazza Navona-all from the outside. This will give you a great look at the city center.
Dinner at a special trattoria that we love for your first dinner in Rome.

This includes 2 villas that will accommodate 13 people.
It is up to the family groups to determine exactly where they will
stay within the villas. The Olive Odysseys and its suppliers are not responsible
for any difference either real or perceived between the guest accomodation within the villas.
Bathrooms and bedrooms will be of different sizes as is the reality in villas in Italy.
This is priced for 13 people. If there are less/ more people, the tour will have to be re-priced.

A 50% deposit per person is due to secure this trip as soon as possible.**
The remainder of this trip is due by February 12 2025.
Before that day, all deposits are fully refundable.
After that date and/or after the final trip costs are paid, your trip is not refundable.
We advise that you get trip insurance to cover any cancellations that might occur.
(** One note-The Olive Odysseys has a temporary hold on the two villas that they have deemed suitable for this type of trip (read-luxury). The owners of said villas, have told The Olive Odysseys that the hold(s) is only if no one else comes forward to book these two villas. **)

* Trip insurance should be bought or waiver signed if you choose not to buy it*
Expenses arising from personal needs such as medications, vaccinations, travel documents, quarantine, communications such as mobile phone and internet charges or any other expenses incurred due to traveling.
Any tips to any support staff including drivers, cleaner, cooks, etc.
All meals except the dinner that you will eat after your cooking class and breakfasts at the hotel in Rome
Any activity that states we will help you book it-but the fee/ price is on you
Any activity that you choose to do that is not listed in the itinerary-again we are here to help you plan it
Any overnight/ city/ environment or tourist tax that is charge per room per night- These are usually 5-8 euros per night per room and are payable at check out.
Certain transfers or cab rides-
The transfers that we include say 'your private driver will be on hand..' for any other transport needs, the costs are on you.
