Day 2
September 3 2027
Venice
We begin our day early, stepping into the heart of historic Venice while the morning light reflects softly across its canals. Today is dedicated to discovering the rich history, art, and daily life of this extraordinary floating city, part of the renowned Venice and its Lagoon.
We'll meet our private guide just outside of the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica, one of the most iconic landmarks in Venice (we'll have skip-the-line tickets avoiding the notorious long lines to get in). Known for its opulent mosaics and striking Byzantine architecture, our guide will tell us the story of Venice’s deep connections with the East. We’ll climb up to the balcony for a close look at the famous bronze horses—believed to have originated from the ancient Hippodrome of Constantinople—and enjoy sweeping panoramic views over St. Mark’s Square and the surrounding lagoon.
From there, we’ll continue our journey through winding alleyways and lively squares toward the legendary Rialto Bridge. Here, you’ll take in one of the most iconic views in Venice: the Grand Canal—often called the city’s “main street”—lined with grand palaces that seem to rise directly from the water.
Nearby, we’ll visit the vibrant Rialto Market, where locals have shopped for fresh fish and produce for centuries. This bustling market offers a glimpse into everyday Venetian life and culinary tradition, full of color, energy, and authentic character.
As we continue through the charming San Marco neighborhood, we’ll arrive in an area known for its excellent selection of traditional trattorias. Here, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at your leisure, choosing from a variety of local favorites.
The afternoon is yours to experience Venice your way. You might wander through hidden streets, relax at a café with a view, or take an unforgettable gondola ride through the quieter canals. Or you might liek to take a boat to the lovely islands of Murano or Burano.
In the evening, enjoy dinner on your own—we’ll be happy to provide recommendations for memorable dining experiences.

Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast
Ferry to Positano & The Amalfi Coast. Be ready this morning as we make our way to the port for a scenic ferry ride along the Amalfi Coast, bound for the famous village of Positano. The journey itself is unforgettable—azure waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and colorful villages dotting the shoreline create one of the most breathtaking coastlines in Europe.
Positano has a fascinating history. Once a quiet fishing village, it rose to fame in the mid-20th century when writers, artists, and celebrities fell in love with its beauty. Today, its pastel-colored houses seem to tumble down the cliffs toward the sea, creating the iconic view that has inspired countless paintings and photographs.
While here, you’ll have time to explore at your own pace. Stroll the narrow cobblestone lanes, browse elegant boutiques for hand-painted ceramics, linen clothing, and artisan jewelry, or pause in a seaside café with a view of the glittering Tyrrhenian Sea. If you’d like, dip your feet in the water—or even pack a swimsuit for a refreshing swim.
In the late afternoon, we’ll return by ferry to Sorrento. Tonight, enjoy another evening in this vibrant town. Sorrento is famous for its limoncello, a lemon liqueur made from the region’s fragrant citrus groves.
Be sure to try a glass before or after dinner, perhaps while people-watching in the lively piazzas or savoring the sunset over the Bay of Naples.

September 10 2027
A Day on Capri
This morning, we set off for the enchanting island of Capri, long celebrated as one of the Mediterranean’s crown jewels. With our round-trip ferry tickets in hand, we’ll glide across the sparkling Bay of Naples, watching as Capri’s dramatic cliffs rise boldly from the sea—a breathtaking sight that has inspired poets, painters, and dreamers for centuries.
Capri’s allure is timeless. The Greeks believed this island was the home of the Sirens, whose haunting songs lured sailors to their fate. Later, in Roman times, Emperor Augustus declared Capri his private paradise, and his successor, Emperor Tiberius, ruled the empire from here for the final decade of his life. His villas, perched high above the sea, became legendary for their extravagance and mystery. Over the centuries, Capri has continued to captivate artists, writers, and jet-set travelers from around the world.
Upon arrival, we’ll journey up to Anacapri, the quieter and more traditional village of the island. From here, a chairlift will carry us to the summit of Monte Solaro, the highest point on Capri. The panorama from the top is unforgettable—stretching across the Bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius, down the Amalfi Coast, and on clear days, as far as the distant mountains of Calabria.
After descending, we’ll make our way to Capri town. Its cobblestone lanes are lined with elegant boutiques, sunlit piazzas, and charming cafés. Here you may visit the Gardens of Augustus, a lush oasis filled with vibrant flowers and statues. From its terraces, you’ll enjoy one of the island’s most iconic views: the famous Faraglioni, three towering rock formations rising from the turquoise sea, said in legend to be home to sea spirits.
Lunch is at your leisure—whether you choose a seaside trattoria serving the catch of the day, or a piazza café offering fresh pasta with Capri’s sun-ripened tomatoes, you’ll be dining in a great setting.
Later, we’ll take the ferry back across the bay to Sorrento. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at a relaxed pace—perhaps wander through the town or sip a glass of prosecco in the sunshine.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a celebratory farewell dinner at a beloved family-run ristorante that has been welcoming guests for over 30 years. With delicious food, warm hospitality, and plenty of toasts, we’ll mark a wonderful journey shared together.
