Leave Chicago July 15 Arrive Milan, Italy July 16 and travel to Lake Como Wedding July 17th July 18 Leave Como midday for Zermatt (wonderful 3 hour drive by private driver) Overnight Zermatt-right at the base of the Matterhorn. July 19 Leave for Lausanne by 2 hour train. Overnight Lausanne July 20 Lausanne including some trips to Montreux and around the lake -or- a day trip to Neufchatel. Overnight Lausanne July 21 Fast train to Zurich. Overnight Zurich. July 22 Zurich. Overnight Zurich. Can be a day trip to Lucerne (40 minutes by train) July 23 Leave for the US Can be a day trip to Lucerne. July 24 -or- return to the US |
