- Naxos–An underrated Cycladic island that still retains its charm. No cruise ships are allowed to dock here, so it has kept its rural whitewashed beauty. See the town of Apiranthos where all the houses have been constructed of local marble.
- Paros–The small towns on this small island are what you want to see. Get lunch in the fishing village of Piso Livadi. Not to be missed.
- Hydra–No cars are allowed on this island. If you stay overnight, you will get away from the day trippers and absorb the beauty and quiet. The only way for your suitcases to be delivered to your villa is by donkey (they are well taken care of).
- Nafplio–The first capital of Greece, it still attracts visitors for its neoclassical houses and its fine tavernas. Sit by the seaside to watch the locals and the calm waters of the bay of Argos.
- Nemea–Where else can you run in an ancient stadium, see magnificent ruins, and also visit some award-winning wineries? Nemea, Greece, is where.
