- Naxos–An underrated Cycladic island that still retains its charm. No cruise ships are allowed to dock here, so it has kept its rural whitewashed beauty. See the town of Apiranthos where all the houses have been constructed of local marble.
- Paros–The small towns on this small island are what you want to see. Get lunch in the fishing village of Piso Livadi. Not to be missed.
- Hydra–No cars are allowed on this island. If you stay overnight, you will get away from the day trippers and absorb the beauty and quiet. The only way for your suitcases to be delivered to your villa is by donkey (they are well taken care of).
- Nafplio–The first capital of Greece, it still attracts visitors for its neoclassical houses and its fine tavernas. Sit by the seaside to watch the locals and the calm waters of the bay of Argos.
- Nemea–Where else can you run in an ancient stadium, see magnificent ruins, and also visit some award-winning wineries? Nemea, Greece, is where.
- Athens–Don’t forget to visit the Greek capital where the heart of the greatest monuments to Western culture are. Take a trip to the Pnyx where democracy was established.
- Poros–This small quiet island is a 30-minute ferry ride from Athens. Laid back with small shops and excellent beaches. Start your trip to the Peloponnese from here!
- Ermione–This quiet seaside town is right in the middle of it all. Olive groves, pomegranate orchards, and a treasure trove of local farms. It sets you up for a quick day trip to Hydra.
- Epidaurus–The greatest singers of all time have sung in the theater here. It was famous in ancient times for its large healing center, still visible in the ruins. People from all over the Mediterranean used to come here.
- Olympia–A serene place in a lush wooded grove, where the Olympic Games were conceived. Make sure to spend time in the treasure-filled museum.
